The new concept of patriotic education for youth in Kazakhstan has taken on a distinctly military preparation tone. This insight comes from the well-known political analyst Danjar Ashimbayev, who shared his thoughts on his Telegram channel:
«The government has approved the Concept of Military-Patriotic Education for Youth until 2030. It’s evident right away that the Ministry of Defense was behind this. The expected results by 2030 include:
A 19.2% increase in the share of military-patriotic organizations (clubs, groups, classes, and sections) in general educational institutions and military units.
A 45.9% increase in the share of specialists who have undergone training and methodological gatherings.
A 7.8% increase in the share of youth expressing a desire to enroll in military educational institutions.
A 13.6% increase in the share of material and technical support for military-patriotic clubs (equipment for classes and premises, provision of uniforms, and accessories).
A 41% increase in the share of publications, social videos, and content related to military-patriotic education for youth.»
Patriotism with weapons in hand – perhaps that’s the only kind needed in the modern world.
