Renowned agro-expert Pavlov stated that the figures manipulated by supporters of the saiga antelope cull are fake.
Pavlov said, «Well, gentlemen from the Ministry of Ecology, I caught you lying! I warned that I would expose you.
When asked about the damage caused by saigas, the Ministry of Ecology officially stated that 3.0 million hectares of agricultural land in the West Kazakhstan Region were affected, citing the regional akimat (administration). Naturally, I submitted a request asking for a complete list of all affected farmers and lands, including meadows and pastures, quoting the ministry’s response.
The akimat replied that reports were only prepared for 2.8 thousand hectares of arable land. That’s it, nothing more. Instead of 1350 farmers, it turns out that only 25 agricultural enterprises were affected.
Excuse me, but where did the remaining 2,997.2 thousand hectares and 1325 farmers disappear to? Why should saigas be held responsible for this?

I apologize for the emotions, but what the heck, Mr. Nysanbayev? Did your employees’ calculators break, or is it a logic issue? Why should sacred saigas of the steppe pay with their lives for the Ministry of Ecology’s lies?»
