Mr. Kirill Pavlov, famous Kazakh agribusiness expert grieves that some of potentially profitable sectors of the indigenous agriculture remain, as usual, outside the scope of attention of the public servants.  Small wonder, because those are not oil and gas. 

Mr. Pavlov shared some statistics about countries making good money on producing honey.  Literal translation below:

Northern Macedonia is geographically six times smaller than Akmola Province.  It holds the third place.  Deserts of Israel – eighth place.

Kazakhstan with its millions of hectares of cultivated and virgin soils, in the flatlands, foothills, meadows, pastures…What are talking about?…

In the past, Mr. Sergey Tereschenko was the engine of honey business development, but he passed away and now it is unclear whether we will at all feature in the Top 50, at least.

It is a pity, and it is rather shameful.  Money is here – planted in soil and buzzing in air.  We do not want to make money, we prefer to poison bees and humans with insecticides that are banned all over the world.
