Arab countries may limit oil sales to Israel, and then… Kazakhstan, already the largest oil supplier to the country, will benefit even more.
Expert Nurlan Zhumagulov writes about this on his Telegram channel:
«Did you know that Israel imports the most oil from Kazakhstan?
Iran has called on the 57 countries in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to impose an oil embargo on Israel.
Israel consumes around 220,000 barrels per day (0.2% of global consumption). According to Kpler data, since mid-May, 60% of Israel’s oil supply came from two Muslim countries: Kazakhstan (KTZ oil) and Azerbaijan (BTC oil). Unlike Iran, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan do not handle oil exports independently (the shippers are private companies/traders, investors, and NC KazMunayGas).»
