Blogger Didar Smagulov has published a letter from the company «Bazis A,» explicitly stating that a 2-ton chandelier compromises the integrity of the museum’s roof, posing a risk of collapse.
The decoration of the museum in Turkestan, costing 1.17 billion, has already sparked a scandal, involving exceeding the estimate, irrational spending, and now, Didar Smagulov has published a document suggesting that the design violates construction norms.

Smagulov writes, «It turns out that due to the 2-ton chandelier, the building may soon collapse. The structure did not account for such a load. Leaks started because of it, according to ‘Bazis.’ Although the roof began leaking long before. Well, the first culprit is identified. This time it’s not a welder or a security guard, it’s a drop-shaped chandelier.»
