The Nazarbayev family owns a huge villa on the Costa Brava coast in Catalonia, which is abundant in luxury.

According to information from Dala Inside, the mansion’s area is 3,000 square meters with 16 rooms. The villa has approximately 20 toilets and baths. The cinema hall located on the villa exceeds 90 square meters. Additionally, it includes three saunas, several jacuzzis, a gym, a dining room, and a massage room. There is also a field intended for helicopter landing, which is equal in size to an entire stadium.

The Nazarbayev family once acquired a 20-hectare land plot on the Costa Brava coast in Lloret de Mar. It is in this villa that Nursultan Nazarbayev’s middle daughter, Dinara, and her husband Timur Kulibayev host distinguished guests.

The family purchased the building in 2007 and carried out some reconstruction. The villa, which locals have nicknamed «The Babylon Palace,» has since been expanded, and its territory has gradually grown even larger. For instance, a road leading to the Mediterranean Sea was constructed, which also falls under their ownership.

The luxury owned by the Nazarbayev family in Spain has displeased local activists. Today, Spaniards express dissatisfaction with the expansion of the old Kazakhstan regime. «Esto es el colmo! (This is too much!)» The Nazarbayevs have blocked the road to the coast. It is almost impossible to pass near the villa.
