Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief, Fedor Zaluzhny, confidently stated that the entry of Ukrainian forces into Crimea is a reality in the near future.

Telegram channels are quoting Zaluzhny as follows:

«According to NATO textbooks and mathematical calculations, we should have had 4 months to get to Crimea, wage war in Crimea, return from Crimea, and enter and exit again…

• We have reached a level of technological development that puts us at an impasse. This war cannot be won with weapons of the past generation and outdated methods;
• To get out of the impasse, Ukraine needs a massive technological leap. But there is unlikely to be a deep and beautiful breakthrough;
• ‘The belief that we can stop Russia by bleeding its troops is my mistake. Russia has lost no fewer than 150,000 people. In any other country, such losses would have stopped the war’;
• On the counteroffensive: ‘At first, I thought something was wrong with our commanders, so I replaced some of them. Then I thought maybe our soldiers are not suitable, so I transferred soldiers to other brigades.’ These changes did not bring results;
• On Avdiivka: ‘On the screens of our monitors on the day I was there, we saw 140 burning Russian vehicles destroyed within four hours’;
• We see everything the enemy does, and they see everything we do. We need something new;
• The weapons supplied by the West are sufficient to support Ukraine in the war, but not enough to allow it to win. ‘They are not obliged to give us anything, and we are grateful for what we have, but I am just stating the facts’;
• By restraining the supply of long-range missile systems and tanks, the West allowed Russia to regroup and strengthen its defense;
• It is important not to let the war turn into trench warfare, or else it will drag on for years;
• ‘We need to find a solution, we need to find the «gunpowder,» quickly master it, and use it for a swift victory. Because sooner or later, we will find that we simply don’t have enough people to fight.'»
