Prominent political analyst Dosym Satpayev has offered a new perspective on the issue of tours in Kazakhstan by artists supporting the war in Ukraine.

He argues that «everyone who supports the aggressor, namely Russia, through action or speech, for ideological reasons or out of self-interest, becomes part of the war propaganda machine. This includes those who invite them to Kazakhstan. In our Criminal Code, according to Article 161, war propaganda is a criminal offense.»
